**2025 Edit!** The kids are now 7, 11, 15 and 18 turning 19 later this year! I am still home with them, but I have also retrained and I’m working on my businesses, so I’m now self-employed with two businesses in two areas I absolutely adore and feel so lucky that I get to work in these areas.. but also apprehensive about getting and finding work… a whole new chapter of our lives! But I am also still at home with the kids too! Best of both worlds, but also new challenges 😉 Leaving Below For Context!**
I’m an Irish mum, a stay-at-home-mum, of four little people who are growing up fast on me. Three girls and a boy. My eldest daughter is now 15yrs, my son is 11.5yrs and my younger daughter is 7.5yrs and the “baby” is 3.5yrs. There are 3.5yr/4yrs between each – which sounds perfectly planned, but I would have loved smaller gaps but that’s life.
The kids all love doing art and creating things, baking and playing outside, among plenty of other things.
I also have five older stepchildren, all adults now, that I have been involved in their lives for 18yrs so they are my family. We have four, nearly five, grandkids from 10yrs old down to no.5 due in the next few weeks. They all live nearby, and come and go as they please – this is their home too! We have a crazy busy life, completely unpredictable – but it is full of love and family, and I wouldn’t change it!
We try to live a healthy lifestyle in general, trying to use food and lifestyle as part of our treatment of health issues, and aim to be a fit and healthy family. I love doing arts and crafts as well, but don’t tend to find time to do much of them myself, and I am always looking for new clever little ways of organising my home! Finding life crazy at the moment with everything, and trying to find ways to make things easier as we go!
